Apply now! Global Estonian Internship Programme
The programme aims to give young people aged 18–35, who were either born abroad or have lived abroad for more than five years, an opportunity to get to know Estonia more closely, develop professionally, and build meaningful networks in their field.
The scholarship consists of a main stipend and, if needed, a travel stipend.
- The main stipend supports full‑time internships lasting at least 4 weeks.
- The lump‑sum amounts are €1800 for 4–6 weeks and €3000 for internships lasting 7 weeks or more.
- If required, a travel stipend is provided for one round trip from the applicant’s country of residence to Estonia and back.
- The internship must take place between 1 May and 30 November 2026.
Important: A confirmed internship placement in Estonia is a required part of the scholarship application. The internship programme is carried out in cooperation with Work in Estonia. The call for applications is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and implemented by ESTDEV.
