Beloved Estonian singer and songwriter Vaiko Eplik will perform in the heart of Helsinki, bringing his unique energy and fresh music to the Music Talsinki club.
Born in Rapla, Eplik is one of the most distinctive and influential figures in the Estonian music scene. He is known from the bands Claire’s Birthday, Ruffus and Koer, as well as the head of his own group Eliit. Over the years, he has released several successful albums. His latest release, „Lähen müüjaks“ (2024), set to the Estonian poetry of Betti Alver, once again confirms his position as a bold and innovative creator.
In addition to music, Eplik has acted on stage and composed music for theatre and film. His work has been recognized with multiple awards: in 2010 he won Estonian Music Awards for Best Male Artist and Best Pop Artist, as well as the Performer of the Year title. In 2024 he was named Musician of the Year by Estonian Public Broadcasting, and in 2015, he was awarded the Order of the White Star, 4th Class, in recognition of his achievements in the field of culture in Estonia.
Eplik’s music is characterized by sincerity, strong melodies, and profound lyrics that resonate with audiences both in Estonia and abroad.
